Jornalista formado pela Universidade Federal do Piauí (UFPI). Atuou como repórter e editor do Sistema Meio Norte de Comunicação, em seu estado, até 2010. Ao chegar a Brasília, trabalhou por cinco anos no jornal Correio Braziliense como repórter e colunista. Desde 2016, é social media no Metrópoles. Entre suas premiações, recebeu o 2º Prêmio Inovação de Jornalismo; o 1º Prêmio SBPT de jornalismo em Doença Pulmonar Obstrutiva Crônica (DPOC), o Prêmio Sebrae de Jornalismo e o Goethe-Institut Journalism Award for Young Journalists.
